Ministry to Children
Children are important to Jesus and they are important to Tri-City as well! From their earliest years in the nursery our goal is to give loving attention to the care of children and their training. We seek to provide them with a love for the Word of God through scripture memory and solid Bible teaching. They are offered opportunities to grow, learn and form friendships through special events throughout the year.
Ministry to Teens
Tri-City teens are encouraged to strengthen their relationship with Christ, study the Word of God and use their abilities to reach out to serve others. We want to provide opportunities for them to build relationships with each other in a Christ-centered environment. We desire to see them spiritually mature and not just entertained.
Ministry to Adults
We at Tri-City want everyone, regardless of their abilities or burdens to feel welcome at our church. We want adults who attend here to be challenged to have deeper faith in our Savior and a greater desire to serve the Lord through our classes, worship services, fellowship and service ministries. Opportunities for the Lord to use adults who have a servant's heart and a willingness to be used of God are endless at Tri-City!
Worship Service
It is the heartfelt desire of Tri-City Baptist Church that every aspect of our worship services honor the name of Christ. Our services and our service music are traditional and Spirit-filled without the confusion and distraction of current charismatic and contemporary trends. It is the goal of our church for our services to be encouraging to the believer and evangelistic to the lost. We are currently having Sunday morning services with in-home Bible studies/fellowships on Sunday evenings. We hope to be able to add regular Sunday evening services soon. Sunday school classes will be added to our schedule in January. It will be exciting to see how the Lord provides facilities and workers to make these additions to our schedule possible.
Prison Ministry
Men in our church have faithfully ministered in local prisons for several years. Prison inmates are given solid Bible preaching, godly song services and solid support from Tri-City men during several church services within the prison each month. We also have a ministry once a year within the prison that allows our church to give over 1182 inmates a small gift and a clear gospel witness of the saving grace of Jesus Christ while their hearts are especially tender during the Christmas season.
Future Ministries
Tri-City is a new church but already has great hopes for what the Lord will be able do through His servants here. As our congregation grows, we pray that the scope of our ministry will grow as well. We look forward to expanding our evangelistic outreach as well as expanding church ministry programs including music, service opportunities and programs that meet the needs of specific age groups within the church. We look forward as well to being able to increase our support of missions both locally and on foreign fields. We are anxious for the Lord to bless our congregation with many people who are willing to share the talents that God has given them so that Tri-City Baptist Church will be able to impact the world for Christ.
